This lot comprises three carved stone pendants, each depicting figures from Eastern religious traditions, suspended from decorative cord mounts. The first pendant represents an elongated standing figure, likely the Bodhisattva Guanyin, carved from a pale greenish-white translucent stone with a characteristic waxy luster. The second pendant depicts a seated Maitreya figure, or Laughing Buddha, rendered in a highly translucent stone with an “icy” appearance and a subtle greyish-blue tint. The third pendant features a similar seated figure carved from a pale, translucent white stone. The stones are indicative of jadeite or nephrite, though definitive mineral identification is not possible without testing. The pendants are mounted on various decorative silk cords, including one with a black-and-white patterned bead and another with a yellow-gold silk-wrapped section and a small white bead. No maker’s marks or reign marks are present on any of the pieces.
Bottom pendant length: 45mm.
