A trio of silver UK Maundy coins dated 1862, consisting of the four pence, two pence, and one penny denominations. The coins are struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness). The lot includes the four pence piece showing the Victoria Young Head obverse, while the two pence and one penny pieces show their respective crowned numeral reverses within wreaths. The coins are presented in a blue plastic storage wallet containing a typed paper label reading 1862 MAUNDY 4 & 2 & 1 PENCE. Maundy money is traditionally distributed by the British Monarch during the Royal Maundy service on Maundy Thursday.
