This UK silver 4 pence coin, identified by the accompanying label as Maundy money, is dated 1843. The reverse design features a central numeral 4 beneath a royal crown, with the date split on either side as 18 and 43, all enclosed within a tied oak wreath. The obverse, though not visible, features the Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria. The coin is struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness). It is presented in a blue, textured Lighthouse pocket coin album with a printed identification label.
