A collection of United Kingdom coinage including a 2008 Royal Mint Emblems of Britain uncirculated set and an individual 1983 commemorative one pound coin. The 2008 set comprises a series of denominations including the one pound, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, and one penny. These coins feature the traditional reverse motifs used prior to the 2008 royal shield redesign. The set is presented in its original Royal Mint black card folder with gold-toned text. Also included is a 1983 nickel-brass one pound coin struck to commemorate the first day of issue on 21st April 1983. This coin is housed in a clear plastic Cinzano promotional presentation case with an accompanying first day of issue certificate. The obverse of the coins features the Arnold Machin portrait of Elizabeth II.
