This Coalport bone china vase was produced in 2006 as an official licensed product for The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden. The vessel is of ovoid form featuring a distinctive slanted or asymmetric rim. The body is decorated with a transfer-printed kaleidoscope pattern in a monochromatic mauve palette, depicting numerous ballerinas in various poses arranged in a circular formation. The base of the vase bears printed marks in black, including the Royal Ballet Covent Garden crest with two rampant lions, the Coalport crown logo with EST. 1750, and the copyright notice © ROYAL OPERA HOUSE COVENT GARDEN TRADING LIMITED 2006. The vase is accompanied by its original pink and burgundy presentation box, which features the Royal Ballet crest and Coalport branding.
