A lot consisting of two pieces of contemporary hand-blown studio art glass, each featuring a marbleised or crackle effect decoration. The decoration consists of translucent amber, cream, and tan tones, accented with bold, opaque black veining to create an organic, stone-like appearance.
The first piece is a large flared bowl or vase with an irregularly ruffled rim. It features a clear glass stem with a hand-tooled scroll or curl accent, terminating in a circular clear glass foot with a black concentric band.
The second piece is a stemmed compote or bowl of a rounded form, featuring the same marbleised colour palette. This piece is elevated on a distinctive triple-strand spiral stem of clear glass, resting on a plain circular clear glass foot. Both pieces have fire-polished rims and show evidence of hand-tooling. No signatures or maker’s marks were detected during inspection.
12 inches and 8 inches.
