A large, shallow fine bone china bowl produced by Coalport in collaboration with The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden. The interior features a radial transfer-printed design in a monochrome purple palette, depicting ballerinas in various dance positions, each holding a stylised flower. The floral motif is repeated at intervals around the interior wall, and the rim is finished with a thin purple line. The base bears printed marks including the royal coat of arms for The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, the Coalport factory mark with crown symbol and EST. 1750, and a copyright for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden Trading Limited dated 2006. The bowl is housed in its original red presentation box with branding.
