A commemorative sculpture commissioned by Dyson’s Tea (R.S. Dyson & Co. Ltd) to celebrate the company’s centenary. The piece is manufactured in cold-cast bronze-effect resin and features a horse-drawn delivery van with relief-moulded inscriptions reading VAN DELIVERIES TO ALL PARTS and DYSONS TEA. Accompanying the vehicle is a delivery man figure in period attire, depicted tipping his cap and holding a tea cup and saucer. The entire scene is mounted on a black rectangular plinth. The sculpture is housed in a green presentation box with a gold-satin-lined interior and a gold-stamped lid featuring the phrase Your tea madam and a heraldic crest. Included is a certificate of authenticity, numbered 2567 and signed by Simon Smith, Fourth Generation Managing Director.
