A collection of decorative ceramics primarily of 20th-century manufacture, comprising various wall plates, teaware, and ornamental objects. The group includes cabinet plates featuring wildlife such as African elephants, a German Shepherd, and an otter. Commemorative pieces are present, including a Battle of Trafalgar 1805-2005 plate depicting H.M.S. Victory, a 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary tray, and dishes for 40th and 50th anniversaries.
Teaware includes cups and saucers with various decorations, such as a London crest on a green ground, a blue-washed cat motif, and several pieces with architectural views of English cathedrals and country houses. Notable decorative items include a tall cream-coloured vase with relief-moulded botanical motifs, a shallow bowl with hand-painted cherries on a yellow ground, a small white ceramic swan, and two bird figurines. Most items are decorated with polychrome transfer prints and many feature gilded rims. Marks visible on the bases include Made in England.
