This collection comprises three Masonic breast jewels and a miniature sword associated with the United Grand Lodge of England and the Province of West Lancashire. The first item is a commemorative jewel issued for the 275th Anniversary of the Formation of the Grand Lodge of England in 1992. The silver-tone circular pendant features a light blue enamel border with the anniversary inscription surrounding a central motif of two crossed heraldic flags and a laurel wreath. It is suspended from a light blue and maroon striped ribbon with a light blue enamel bar dated 1992. The collection further includes two West Lancashire Charity Jewels of gilt metal and enamel construction. These circular jewels display the provincial arms of West Lancashire with a central shield containing a scroll inscribed Kodes La Adonai. The outer rings feature blue and white enamel with the inscriptions West Lancashire and Charity Jewel. One example is suspended from a light blue ribbed silk ribbon, and the other from a white ribbed silk ribbon; both ribbons are fitted with two gilt bars featuring embossed laurel leaf patterns. The final item is a miniature cruciform sword cast from white metal, featuring a simple cross-guard and a rounded pommel, of the type often used symbolically to represent the sword of the Tyler or as a paper knife.
