An earthenware circular footed bowl of tapered form. The exterior is hand-painted in a folk-art style with cobalt blue and white slip, featuring a pattern of stylized wave-like scrolls and five-pointed stars. The interior and underside of the base are finished in a creamy-white glaze. The bowl stands on a raised, unglazed foot rim. No maker marks or factory stamps are discernible.
