A Chinese blue and white porcelain footed vessel, likely intended for use as a scholar’s object or small vase. The piece is designed with a flared upper rim and a cylindrical body that transitions into a bulbous lower section, terminating in a characteristic notched mountain-shaped foot. The exterior is decorated in underglaze blue with flowering chrysanthemum and prunus branches, with a dragonfly and stylized scrolling motifs appearing on the lower section. The interior of the foot is glazed, and the notched rim is left unglazed, showing the white porcelain paste. No maker’s marks or reign marks are visible on the base or body of the item.
