A bulbous earthenware vase featuring a short, flared rim. The piece is finished with an overall intentional crackle glaze on a cream ground. The body is decorated with hand-painted depictions of three ducks in soft, muted tones of purple, yellow, and brown. The flared rim and upper neck are finished with a mottled sponged glaze in shades of turquoise and sea green. The base features a small, hand-painted mark depicting a bumblebee in yellow, black, and blue-grey, which is characteristic of the Poole Pottery Country Lane range designed by Kerry Goodwin.
