The piece is decorated using a millefiori or nerikomi technique, featuring intricate patterns created from slices of coloured material, likely polymer clay or similar composite. The interior base is decorated with a dense field of blue and white floral motifs. The interior and exterior walls feature bands of tan and white triangles containing spiral designs, bordered by a navy blue strip, with sections showing multi-coloured mosaic tiles in shades of brown, blue, and grey. The piece is finished with a thick, hand-applied mustard-yellow rim. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are visible on the provided surfaces.
