A Royal Crown Derby bone china dinner plate decorated in the traditional 1128 Old Imari pattern. The vessel features a central six-petaled floral medallion enclosed by dense gilt scrollwork against a cobalt blue ground. The wide border is divided into alternating radial panels: one section displaying stylized iron red floral sprays with gilt accents on a navy ground, and the other featuring a diamond-shaped reserve with a red and white scale pattern on a navy cross-hatched field. The rim and panel divisions are finished with heavy gilding. The underside features a red printed circular mark reading ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLISH BONE CHINA surrounding a crown and interlaced A and D cypher. Above this mark is the pattern number 1128 and the Roman numerals XLIII. A separate small red R and a stylized gold symbol are also present on the base.
Diameter: 27 cm.
