The service is decorated with transfer-printed floral sprays of deep red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage, set against a crisp white ground. Each piece features the pattern’s signature heavy stippled gold-gilt finish to the scalloped rims and scrolled handles. The service comprises a teapot of bulbous, fluted form with a domed lid and pointed finial, a rectangular sandwich tray with integrated twin handles, an open circular sugar bowl, and four Montrose shape teacups with four matching saucers. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp featuring a three-rose motif, with “Old Country Roses” in pink script above “ROYAL ALBERT”, “BONE CHINA”, and “ENGLAND” in green capital letters.
