A collection of eight pieces of bone china tableware by Royal Albert in the popular Old Country Roses pattern. The assortment comprises six circular dinner plates, one rectangular lidded trinket box, and one small square-form pin dish featuring a scalloped rim. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed clusters of deep red, pink, and yellow roses amongst green foliage. The rims of the plates, the lid, the box base, and the pin dish are finished with a heavy stippled gilt effect edging. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp featuring a central floral motif of three roses, with Old Country Roses in pink cursive script above, and ROYAL ALBERT, BONE CHINA, ENGLAND in green block capitals below.
