A pair of three-dimensional diorama shadow boxes depicting Venetian building facades. Each scene is constructed from painted resin? or plaster? and features detailed architectural elements including balconies with flower boxes, shuttered windows, arched doorways, a circular vent, and a gondola moored at a striped pole within stylized green water. The backgrounds are painted in textured shades of terracotta red and mustard yellow. Each diorama is housed in a distressed, cream-painted wooden frame with an inner rope-twist border and a glass front. The interior of one frame contains two white adhesive labels, each printed with the number 600L. The other frame contains two similar white adhesive labels, each printed with the number 1009.
