A collection of ceramic tableware featuring two distinct decorative styles, accompanied by a brass carriage style clock. The primary group consists of earthenware pieces decorated with red transfer-printed rural landscapes and architectural scenes. This set includes a large serving bowl, several cups, a stack of saucers, and a matching large jug. The base of one piece bears a printed black mark featuring a central ‘C’ in a square frame above the word ‘Spode’, with text reading ‘Made in ENGLAND ITALIAN SPODE DESIGN C. 1816 A3’, flanked by ‘DISHWASHER SAFE’ and ‘MICROWAVE SAFE’.
