A Royal Ark Mariner (RAM) Grand Rank fraternal collar and suspended jewel. The neck collar is constructed from a wide ribbed silk? / rayon? ribbon featuring a horizontal rainbow spectrum of violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. The ribbon is backed with a deep maroon fabric and includes a padded white satin-effect neck section. A gold-toned metal cord is applied to the front, terminating in a textured spherical slider. Suspended from the apex by a white metal ring and clasp is a triangular jewel. The jewel features a textured background field within a plain border, overlaid with a stylized, raised letter Z. The reverse of the jewel is plain and lacks visible assay marks or maker inscriptions.
