The set is decorated in an Imari style featuring transfer-printed and hand-painted floral motifs in iron red, pink, and ochre, highlighted with cobalt blue panels and extensive gilding. The group includes a mantle clock of architectural form with a white Roman numeral dial marked MASON’S QUARTZ; a large hexagonal cachepot with twin handles; a lidded teapot with a C-scroll handle; a large water jug featuring a mask-head handle and scalloped rim; a cream jug; a small bud vase; and a footed sifter with a gilded finial.
