A hand-painted porcelain or bisque porcelain figurine depicting a Pierrot and a reclining ballerina. The Pierrot is seated, featuring a single blue tear to one cheek, dressed in a traditional white costume with a pink ruffled collar and gold-toned buttons. The ballerina is posed in a reclining position, wearing a white tutu with a marble-effect bodice and gilt-metal effect highlights. The figures are mounted to an oval wooden base with a red-stained, high-gloss finish and a dark-stained bevelled edge. A rectangular gold-toned plaque is affixed to the front of the wooden base, bearing the cursive script Vittorio Sabadin above the block capitals MADE IN ITALY and a stylized shell logo to the left. The porcelain is finished with extensive gilt-metal effect accents to the hems, collar, and shoes.
