A classical style sculptural group, likely cast from a resin? or composite material, depicting an amorous mythological scene between a nymph and a satyr. The male satyr is identified by his pointed ears and curly hair adorned with grape clusters, seated against a rocky outcrop draped with grapevine foliage. The female nymph stands before him in an embrace, rendered with idealized neoclassical anatomy and a smooth surface finish. The figures are set upon an integral, tiered rectangular plinth with bevelled edges. The sculpture is finished in a uniform cream tone, designed to simulate carved stone or plaster. No signatures, maker’s marks, or foundry stamps are visible on the piece.
Height: Approximately 26 cm.
