An assortment of decorative trivets, each comprising a cast iron frame inset with a ceramic tile. The collection features two distinct frame designs: a scrolled openwork form with an elongated handle and a more compact, arched handle design. The tiles are decorated with various hand-painted or tube-lined motifs, including mushrooms, a rooster, a butterfly, garden flowers, a fruiting cherry branch, and mixed vegetables. One trivet features a stylized rose design in the Art Nouveau manner. A printed white adhesive label on the reverse of the rose-motif trivet reads: NO. 582 / KETTLE TRIVET / CRM MACKINTOSH / ROSE DESIGN. The reverse of the tiles shows areas of exposed ceramic and adhesive residue from the mounting process. The cast iron frames are finished in black with integrated feet for surface protection.
