A group of white metal vessels presented on a large twin-handled oval gallery tray, exhibiting strong Art Deco influence through octagonal, faceted forms and stepped bases. The set consists of a coffee pot, a teapot, a two-handled sugar basin, and a cream jug. The coffee pot and teapot feature angular black resin? handles and matching circular finials. The tray is decorated with an ornate chased foliate and scroll pattern to the central well, surrounded by a pierced lattice gallery and gadrooned rim. Notable wear is present on the raised edges and handles of the vessels, revealing a copper-toned base metal beneath. An oval mark is visible to the centre of the tray’s well, containing characters that are not clearly legible. No British assay marks or hallmarks are visible on the bodies of the vessels.
