A United States national flag of heavy cotton or wool? bunting construction, featuring a 50-star canton. The stars are individually sewn to the blue field using an appliqué technique, and the thirteen red and white stripes are horizontally stitched. The hoist end is finished with a heavy-weight white canvas header through which a white braided rope is integrated. One end of the rope features a small wooden toggle, a fastening system characteristic of maritime or naval use. The configuration of fifty stars indicates a production date post-1960. The flag exhibits a utilitarian, heavy-duty build consistent with government-issue specifications. No legible maker’s marks, contract stamps, or size designations are present on the header or bunting.
