A vintage London Pride N. 10 chromatic harmonica of Italian manufacture. The instrument features a wooden? comb and brass reed plates, encased within polished white metal cover plates. Both plates are decorated with intricate engraved floral and scrollwork motifs. The top cover plate is engraved with the model name LONDON PRIDE centrally, followed by the text CHROMATIC HARMONICA, and is numbered 1 through 10 along the upper edge to denote the holes. The mouthpiece and slide button mechanism are finished in polished white metal. The instrument is housed in its original rectangular wooden presentation case, which features a red textured exterior finish and a single brass swing-latch. The case lid is gold-stamped with the inscription CHROMATIC HARMONICA N. 10 / LONDON PRIDE / MADE IN ITALY. The interior is lined with a padded red fabric, featuring a fitted recess for the instrument.
