A pair of vintage novelty belt buckles dating to 1981, featuring Western and Americana motifs. The first buckle is constructed from solid brass? and depicts the word COWBOY in bold, stylized block lettering alongside a relief representation of a cowboy hat. The reverse is stamped with the maker’s name BARON BUCKLES, the production number 4520, the year © 1981, and a circular logo containing the letter B. It includes a fixed metal loop and a single prong for belt attachment. The second buckle is cast in a grey base metal with a bronzed? and enamelled finish. The highly dimensional design depicts a four-piece country music band with guitars, set above a banner reading Country Western. Small areas of red, green, yellow, and blue enamel-style colour are applied to the band members’ clothing. The reverse features several cast marks including a rectangular stamp reading © 1981 BERGAMOT BRASS WORKS ®, a circular mark for MADE IN USA, a model code L-96, and a stylized bird device. It is fitted with a decorative cast loop and a single prong.
