A vintage five stone ring of graduated design, featuring three round cut blue sapphires? and two round cut diamonds? set alternately across the head. The gemstones are housed within a white metal gallery featuring an openwork, pierced bridge and crown style claw settings. The setting transitions into a yellow metal shank. The interior of the band is impressed with the mark 18ct PLAT, indicating a construction of 18 carat yellow gold with a platinum setting. The sapphires display a dark blue hue, while the diamonds are positioned as accents between the primary stones. The ring shows a bicolour finish with significant surface wear and oxidation visible to the shoulders and interior of the band.
