A 22 carat yellow gold wedding band of traditional D-shaped profile. The band features a rounded exterior and a flat interior, presenting a high-polish finish. The interior of the shank is struck with a full set of British hallmarks including the crown gold standard mark, the fineness mark 22, the leopard’s head assay mark for London, and the lowercase serif date letter a corresponding to the year 1936. A maker’s mark is also present, consisting of two characters in a rectangular punch, though these are not clearly legible.
