A British silver Maundy two-pence coin dated 1905, issued during the reign of King Edward VII. The obverse features the right-facing uncrowned portrait of the monarch by George William De Saulles. The portrait is encircled by a Latin legend which reads EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:. The reverse depicts a crowned numeral 2, which divides the date 19 05, all contained within an oak wreath tied with a bow at the base. This specimen is struck in .925 sterling silver and was produced at the Royal Mint in London. The coin is presented in a white cardboard 2×2 flip secured with staples, which bears the handwritten inscriptions 1905 and £2 in black ink.
