A collection of white metal sixpences spanning the reigns of George IV, William IV and the early years of Queen Victoria?. The lot includes various reverse designs, notably the George IV 1826 Lion on Crown and Garter types. The standard reverse pattern, used for the majority of the dates present, features the denomination SIX PENCE struck within a tied wreath of oak and laurel leaves, surmounted by a royal crown. The obverses depict either the laureate head profile of George IV or the bare head profile of William IV, both facing left. The coins are housed in a clear plastic pocketed folder, each accompanied by a white paper label with printed text including 1825, 1826 REV LION ON CROWN, 1826 REV GARTER, 1827, 1828, 1829, 1831, 1834, 1835, 1836, 1837 and 1838. Several coins bear clearly legible struck dates at the base of the reverse including 1831, 1834, 1835 and 1836. The coins exhibit varying degrees of circulation wear and surface toning consistent with age.
