A lead crystal pedestal vase of flared conical form, featuring a wide mouth and a tapered waist set upon a knopped stem and a circular foot with a star-cut base. The body is extensively decorated with deep-cut diamond point or hobnail patterns, creating a textured surface designed to enhance light refraction. A prominent decorative band circles the upper section, consisting of acid-etched and gilded ornamentation. This band features neoclassical scrolling foliate motifs, floral wreaths, and lattice-work reserves against a textured gold ground. The gilding is bordered by polished clear crystal bands. The interior of the rim shows a yellow adhesive label printed with the characters 4554. The crystal exhibits high clarity and sharp definition to the facet cuts.
