A miscellaneous collection of ceramics, metalware, and numismatic items. The ceramic group features a tea set decorated with polychrome floral sprays and green-glazed rims, including a teapot, cream jug, and several cups and saucers. A silver-toned commemorative medal is presented in a blue velvet-lined box, the lid of which is marked with a crest and the text ROYAL MINT. The medal is inscribed 900 YEARS WESTMINSTER ABBEY around a relief of the building. Metalware includes a large white metal soup ladle with a scalloped bowl and shell-motif handle, and an assortment of flatware including a knife with a faux-tortoiseshell handle. A decorative wooden cylinder of tapering form is bound in light brown leather? with applied armorial crests and brass handles. Ephemera consists of two British ten-shilling notes and a collection of vintage photographs and postcards. Also present is a cut glass pitcher with geometric patterns, a green-stemmed wine glass, and a small circular tin depicting two children.
