A collection of vintage beekeeping equipment comprising a bellows smoker and two veiled hats. The smoker is constructed with a cylindrical metal fire chamber, possibly galvanised steel or brass?, featuring a conical nozzle with a circular aperture. This is mounted upon a bellows unit made of two wooden boards joined by a leather diaphragm, reinforced with metal strips and tacks. The metal surfaces exhibit a heavy green patina and surface oxidation throughout. The hats consist of one olive green fabric cap with a dark mesh veil and a second tan fabric hat with a lighter mesh veil and integrated drawstrings. The mesh on the tan hat is a fine honeycomb weave. The smoker’s fire chamber is secured to the bellows with a copper-toned metal strap. A small metal handle is attached to the upper surface of the fire chamber.
