A cast white metal belt buckle featuring an equestrian theme in a Western style. The design incorporates two overlapping horseshoes framing a relief-moulded saddle with stirrup. The background is decorated with geometric patterns in multi-coloured enamel inlay including yellow, red, blue, and green. The reverse of the buckle has a textured finish and is fitted with a hinged metal loop and a single peg for belt attachment. Three distinct marks are present on the reverse: a raised rectangular bar at the top bearing the relief inscription COPYRIGHT 1980; a smaller rectangular plaque at the centre with the stamped numerals 1964; and a circular device at the bottom featuring a horned animal head? / bison? beneath a banner, though the characters within the banner are not legible.
