A pair of hand-painted character heads, likely constructed from a molded composition or plaster material. The figures are rendered in a caricature style, representing a nurse and a British policeman. The first head features a tan complexion with large painted eyes, a black moustache, and a black hat decorated with a red cross emblem. The second head depicts a policeman with a redder complexion and blue eyes, wearing a blue custodian-style helmet with a molded circular badge. Both heads are hollow with open bases, designed to be mounted on a puppet body or neck post. The internal material is visible at the bases and fractured areas, revealing a light grey, grainy composition. No markings, signatures, or inscriptions are legible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
Height: 10 cm.
