An assortment of decorative ceramics and earthenware, predominantly of 20th-century British manufacture. The collection features a large, dark brown glazed earthenware horse figurine in the form of a shire horse, fitted with a harness and metal chain detail. Included is a lidded teapot and a matching lidded sugar bowl or butter dish modelled as traditional thatched cottages with hand-painted floral and foliage details. The lot contains several character and Toby jugs, including a seated figure in a green coat and tricorn hat, and a smaller jug depicting a man with a red-painted nose and green hat. Also present is a bright green glazed planter in the shape of a frog on a lily pad and a black-glazed earthenware vase and lidded jar with a hand-painted floral band. Further items include two yellow-glazed stoneware mugs, one transfer-printed with a map and text reading CHANNEL ISLANDS and ALDERNEY, alongside various floral-decorated porcelain pitchers, vases, and small jugs. The cottage-ware pieces and yellow mugs exhibit heavy crazing to the glaze.
