A collection of souvenir and decorative thimbles, primarily constructed from bone china? and porcelain? with assorted printed and hand-painted motifs. The group includes various topographical scenes from British locations such as “JERSEY”, “PLYMOUTH”, “STRATFORD-UPON-AVON”, “LIVERPOOL”, “EDINBURGH”, and “DEVON”. Several commemorative pieces are present, including one reading “H.R.H. WILLIAM PRINCE OF WALES COMMEMORATING HIS BIRTHDAY 21st JUNE 1982” and another referencing “SAMUEL PEPYS”. One notable figural thimble features a gold-tone metal effect cat finial. The collection is housed in four distinct display units: a dark-stained wood rectangular wall-hanging case with forty cubbies, a wood display case designed in the shape of a house with a textured shingle roof, and two clear plastic tiered display domes set on dark-stained wood bases.
