A collection of British Post Office mint stamp presentation packs, dating from 1974 to 1980. The collection comprises multiple commemorative sets, each featuring unmounted mint (MNH) stamps mounted on original descriptive card folders. Visible issues include the 1974 UPU (Universal Postal Union), Great Britons, The Telephone, Social Reformers, Jane Austen, and Christmas 1975. The 1978 and 1979 periods are represented by sets such as The Twelve Days of Christmas, Historic Buildings, Energy, 25th Anniversary of the Coronation, Rowland Hill, Christmas 1979, Police, and British Birds. Later issues include Music and British Conductors, Christmas 1980, Sport, and Folklore. The stamps are primarily printed using the photogravure method on phosphor-coated paper, featuring various denominations ranging from 3p to 25p. The packs are housed in a black four-ring binder with clear plastic sleeves and a coordinating red slipcase. A yellow adhesive label on the slipcase spine reads 5259.
