A walnut veneered hi-fi sideboard of rectangular, mid-century form, featuring a distinctive central decorative panel of vertical black-lacquered wooden slats. The top surface bears a printed label with the Nipper dog graphic and the text HIS MASTER’S VOICE, followed by BY APPOINTMENT SUPPLIERS OF RADIO APPARATUS TO H.M. THE KING and The Gramophone Company Ltd, Hayes, Middlesex. The unit is fitted with several audio components, including a Garrard Synchro-Lab 72B turntable housed in a top-right pull-out drawer. The front fascia is set with an Eagle International AA.2 integrated stereo amplifier and an Eagle International AA-8 solid-state stereo tuner, both with white metal faceplates. A lower right-hand compartment contains a JVC NIVICO 8-track player marked MODEL CHR-100UH. The cabinet is configured with a left-hand cupboard and is finished with black rectangular pulls on a plinth base.
