An oak? revolving bookcase of Edwardian style?, featuring a double-tiered square top section supported by four turned baluster columns. The main body is constructed with vertical slats forming partitions for two shelves on each face. The unit rotates on a central metal spindle above a square plinth base. The shelf edges are mounted with small rectangular brass plates, stamped with black-filled numerals including ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘3’, ‘4’, and ‘5’ on one upper shelf, ‘6’, ‘7’, ‘8’, ‘9’, and ’10’ below, and further plates numbered ’31’ and ’32’ on an adjacent side. The bookcase is finished in a dark stain that emphasises the natural oak grain, with the revolving mechanism integrated into the lower frame.
