A collection of fraternal, commemorative, and military-style medals and insignia. The group includes a Masonic Knights Templar breast star of eight-pointed faceted form, featuring a central boss with a white enamel ground and red patriarchal cross, enclosed by a black enamel border with the gilt inscription ‘IN HOC SIGNO VINCES’. Also included is a white metal and gilt metal effect Swiss shooting medal for the Luzerner Kantonalschützenverein, dated 1968, suspended from a blue and white striped ribbon with a gilt metal effect pistol device; the top bar is inscribed ‘LUZERNER 19-S-STICH-68’ and the medal rim reads ‘KANTONALSCHUTZENVEREIN LUZERN’. The lot further comprises a Masonic square and compasses jewel set with faceted clear stones on a maroon ribbon, and a six-pointed silvered metal star with an interlaced ‘LSV’ monogram, suspended from a blue ribbon with a British Light Infantry style crown and stringed bugle bar.
