A collection of British Masonic Steward breast jewels dating from the mid to late 20th century, constructed from gilt-metal effect and vitreous enamel. The group includes various institutional festival jewels. One jewel features a white enamel bar inscribed RMBI 1997 STEWARD with an oval pendant bearing the red-bordered motto SPECTEMUR AGENDO and a gilt-crowned lion head. A 1966 Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution jewel comprises a red STEWARD bar and a maroon ribbon mounted with a blue shield depicting three seaxes. A third circular jewel from 1955 is inscribed 1955 STEWARD and RMBI ANNUAL FESTIVAL, decorated with a red stag and a saltire. The final jewel for the R.M.I.G. 1954 is suspended by gilt-metal effect chains from a white STEWARD bar, with banners inscribed PERSEVERANCE and VIRTUTE AND COURAGE surrounding a central heraldic shield.
