The vessel features a domed top with a cast turned finial and is equipped with a cast spigot tap featuring an ebonised wooden handle. The main body is integrated with a circular base stand, which is embellished with decorative pierced lattice fretwork and supported by four small cast feet. The shoulder of the urn displays the hand-scratched characters ‘LJ’. The piece is constructed from copper with a white metal finish, exhibiting significant wear and tarnish across the exterior, particularly to the base and around the tap junction where the copper base metal is clearly visible.
