A 9ct yellow gold Claddagh ring of traditional form featuring two hands clasping a central heart, which is surmounted by a stylized banded crown signifying loyalty. The motif is integrated into a plain, polished yellow gold shank. The interior of the shank is struck with British hallmarks including the number 9 and .375 in separate rectangular punches, alongside the anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office. A potential maker mark is present at the beginning of the sequence and a date letter at the end, although neither mark is clearly legible as a name or specific character. The shank exhibits a visible vertical line at the rear, indicating where the piece has been previously resized. The design features a hollowed-out back to the main motif.
