A 9ct yellow gold wedding band of plain D-shaped profile with a polished finish. The interior of the shank is struck with a full set of British hallmarks, including the maker’s mark L&B in a rectangular punch, the fineness marks 9 and .375 signifying 9 carat gold, a leopard’s head symbol for the London Assay Office, and the lowercase date letter q corresponding to the year 1990. A vertical line is visible on the exterior of the band, likely indicating the original solder join from manufacture or a resizing.
