An Italian 9 carat yellow gold hinged bangle of circular form. The upper hemisphere features an intricately engraved floral and foliate motif, consisting of sunburst flower heads and slender, tapering leaves set against a finely textured ground. In contrast, the lower hemisphere is finished with a plain polished surface. The construction incorporates a concealed hinge and a functional tongue-in-groove box clasp, which is further secured by a single figure-of-eight safety catch for additional security. The interior of the clasp tongue is struck with the numbers 375 and the letters ITALY in a rectangular recess.
