A 9ct gold tiered diamond cluster cocktail ring of beehive form. The piece features a yellow gold shank and a white gold multi-tiered circular head. The setting is mounted with approximately nineteen round brilliant-cut diamonds, arranged with one central stone surrounded by a middle tier of six and an outer tier of twelve diamonds. The diamonds exhibit visible internal inclusions and some variations in colour. The yellow gold shank tapers at the shoulders, where it splits into a bifurcated design to support the basket. The interior of the shank is stamped with British hallmarks including a crown symbol and ’18’, alongside three additional illegible marks which are not readable as a name, town, or date.
