A quartersawn oak side table featuring a rectangular top with canted corners and a moulded edge, displaying a prominent ray fleck grain throughout. The apron is embellished with a continuous band of beaded or bobbin-turned moulding. The table is supported by four square-section legs that taper slightly towards the feet, joined by a shaped H-stretcher which supports a central rectangular display shelf. The piece presents as a solid early 20th-century construction with a dark-stained finish.
